turning in he was 'climbing in the air' a bit but when I gave him a smack behind the saddle he went forward well. He was very green on his first run and learned a lot from his second run. He's one to look forward to for the rest of the year.
Bolger & Manning combine for Dublin double
she (Teoranta) liked the better ground and will go for something similar. I bought the dam from Sheikh Mohammed and I wasn't able to get a win with her, but she had a few problems. You probably won't see Teoranta for a while as she needs some time between her races.
Zalty misses break but still wins
that wasn't the plan! He was supposed to be up there but missed the break; this horse has serious ability though and should be unbeaten. He thought he had won at Naas (when beaten a nose) and the ground was too heavy for him at Killarney. I'm really looking forward to him going to Dubai (Carnival) as he will love the tapeta surface. I like this horse.
Along Came Smullen for Leopardstown win!
that was very pleasing. She's a good filly and her form behind Declaration of War spoke for itself. It was a very good performance for her first run of the year and while there's nothing definite, she may step up to ten furlongs and come back here for the Meld Stakes.

we may go to Galway now . he was second there before and he could have a run over hurdles before that. Kevin Manning, rider of ninth placed Quill And Vellum, subsequently to the Stewards that his mount lost its action and as a consequence was eased in the closing stages.
Digeanta takes finale but Fogarty suspended
it was an open, competitive race but he (Digeanta) came here fit and well. Mikey had him in a lovely position all the way and he quickened nicely for him. He seemed to enjoy the ground here tonight.
