She was unlucky the last day but it was nice to get it today. I think she's alright now and has enough experience and I'll wait for better ground with her. She's able to handle that ground and win on it at that level but to improve she'll want better ground. I wouldn't think she'll run in the mares' novice at Cheltenham.

Davy did the trick. It was the first time those tactics were used today and they worked. 'It was Davy's first time riding him and we never went to the front before. In fairness to Mikey Fogarty (previous jockey) he was mad to go to the front with him but I stopped him as I thought the horse would stop in front. Davy is after riding three for us now and two have won so we can't complain! He'll go for something similar next as he loves that tacky, heavy ground.

Zipporah lands morning gamble under Skehan

She was off for two years with a tendon injury before I got her last September and she's a great mare to have. Johnny Clifford works for me and has done an awful lot of work with the mare and I'm delighted she has won again. Credit also goes to Damien who stole the race and gave her a cracker of a ride. There are two races for her at Thurles next week and, which ever one she runs in, I hope to be talking to ye again!
