he was overdue that and obviously came up against a good horse of Peter Fahey’s (Xsquared) at Limerick and he has won three since. He was unlucky the last day to get a fall but it did nothing to his confidence thank god. Two and a half is his trip and I’m delighted for his owner James Moran and that’s Paul (Townend)’s first winner for me.

I'm delighted and it is gamble landed as we had a good few quid on her. She was 'thrown in' over fences and she jumped like a stag. She'll run again on Sunday under her penalty and is in foal to Rock Of Gibraltar and has until the end of August to race.
