Freedom puts experience to good use
He's got the hang of it now at long last. I think he goes on any ground, and we'll try to upgrade him a bit. He's in the Railway Stakes and we'll have a look at that.
Empress appreciates fast ground
She wanted the good ground and it's finally come. She was Group placed last year so her job is nearly done. We will look at some Stakes races for her.
Regal has the Power
I was a bit afraid of the ground with him. I thought it was firm but the jockeys say it rides well. He charged the gate and bumped his nose but it didn't affect him too much.
Trading is Irish Derby bound
He'll probably come back here for the Irish Derby. Hopefully this weather lasts, and they don't go too fast. He's a very straight-forward horse but he needs the ground good or faster. He doesn't want it moving!
Majenta stays well to justify support
She stays well and likes the ground. We had to run her at Dundalk before to get some decent ground. We'll try to get her some black type as the owner is a breeder and that's his main interest.
Ground proves just right for Levanto
The ground made a big difference compared to what she ran on at Killarney last time. She travelled really well for Johnny, and just held on at the finish. It was a very good effort against a field of colts.
Halford's dream run continues with Dabadiyan
He's a lovely big horse who settles well, quickens up and has loads of scope. He improved a lot from his last run. He's huge and has just taken time to come to himself. He'll go forward from here and, for a big horse, he loves that ground.
