Kinane impresses at Leopardstown
She improved a bit on the better ground, it was very heavy here the last day and it's amazing the ground is as good as it is I can't understand it. She'll go for The Parks Stakes at The Curragh in 3 weeks time. She stays well so we let her sit out in front.
O'Donoghue seen to good effect
3rd Group 1 win for Lush Lashes
There are a good few options for her to go to next, there is The Sun Chariot at Newmarket next month, Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp, A Fillies & Mares Turf race at The Breeders Cup and there's a race in Hong Kong that Alexander Goldrun won before. I would think she'd remain in training next year.
Marnane inform at Leopardstown
We were hoping that the two had live chances we couldn't split them at home. The second horse was probably a fraction unlucky Rain Rush got all the splits. Both will run again this season.
Another one for New Approach
The previous time at Newmarket he was too keen on the day because we had to rush a lot of quick work into him. There wasn't really enough pace today and once again we probably over did the settling. He only did what he had to do and Kevin confirmed that he had bundles left in the tank. It was a nice easy race for him and he should come out of it well. He's entered in The Champion Stakes at Newmarket, The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and The Breeders Cup Classic he'll probably run in two of them.
John Oxx and Mick Kinane in double form
The better ground suited today it was bottomless the last day when she ran in Gowran Park. She's running to her Limerick form where she beat the runner up previously. We'll try get another run into her, she'll be retiring at the end of the year.
Manning & Bolger dominate at Leopardstown
Kevin said that he is still very green and to bear in mind that he is a very late May Foal. There is still alot of improvement to come and he is definitely one for the future.
