Noble Four lords it at Cork
He ran a lovely race up north [Down Royal] last time. The extra furlong and dropping down in grade suited him. Wayne gave him a super ride and did everything perfect. He is a persuasive little man!
Big Bad Lily dominates her rivals
She will run at Tipperary on Friday night under a mandatory penalty. She deserved her win.
Alanza confirms her promise
Alanza stayed well. We thought seven furlongs was her trip but it looks like a mile or further is the best distance. She ran twice this year over six furlongs and it helped to settle her down. She was quite keen early on in life. She is bred to go a bit in distance. She is doing things right now. She has no big entries. We were going to go to the Fairy Bridge Stakes at Tipperary over seven and a half furlongs but we'll see. Maybe she wants further.
Pink Symphony enjoys Irish air
That's Joseph's first winner for me. He gave her a great ride. It's a great way to start with her. I've only had her four to six weeks. She was quite smart for Paul Cole over in England. She has been Group and Listed race placed over there. She maintained her form and didn't have to improve to win. She's a grand straightforward filly and likes reasonable ground. I'll step her up in grade and trip. She stays one mile four to one mile six very well. It's the first horse I have for the Hay's. They also own Fame And Glory and Cape Blanco.
Newmarket Story writes new chapter
Obviously well named
We fancied him the first day but he messed in the stalls [sixth at Gowran Park]. We always thought he was very very good at home. He seems to be a proper horse. We've schooled him over hurdles but have no immediate plans.
