Presenting Percy impresses Flanagan
He jumped absolutely brilliant and will improve in a better race. His first run over hurdles in September was all new to him and he settled more today.
Killiney Court makes all for Galway win
Mikey gave him a super ride and he jumped great and I’m delighted for his owners the Bambricks. He’s as genuine as you can get, keeps improving and is a lovely horse. He wouldn’t handle soft ground and had been busy all summer but I’ll speak to Martin (Bambrick) and see if we give him a break now. He’s still a novice for the spring.
Oscar Knight full of running in Galway
He got browned off last year but was entitled to do that on his hurdles rating. His jumping was a bit ragged last year and we left him off after he disappointed at the Fairyhouse Easter meeting. His jumping was better today and he'd prefer a trip. I've nothing in mind but hopefully he can continue to climb up the handicap ladder - he can go three miles or further.
Potters Point does it from the front in Galway
He made a mistake at the wrong time and it wasn't the strongest race in the world but it was grand to win with him. All his form is good but his wind isn't great and it is a big worry. I don't know if he'll go on real heavy ground during the winter but he has won a race now and chasing is his game. It's grand for Kevin (Sexton) to ride a winner too.
Copy Print scores for Walsh/Enright
Philip gave him a grand spin around and you can’t beat a bit of light weight on his back. The last day he ran he nearly had top weight and he’s only a small little horse. He’s tough and might run again if the rain doesn’t come.
That's A Wrap brings up doubles all round
He was going nice all last season but then pulled up at Ballinrobe and, when we couldn't find anything wrong with him, we decided to leave him off as he's a big horse who'd summer well . He'll have no problem with soft ground and we'll go for another handicap next. He's definitely a chaser in the making.
Joey Sasa puts them away in Ballybrit
All along we thought he wanted soft ground but he loved the good today. He keeps going and I'd say he is a reasonable horse. He missed a couple of years not because he was injured but because he wasn't brought in until he was a six-year-old, so that's why he is as old as he is. He jumps well and will go for a maiden hurdle next.
