Cops fend off Gaoise
He didn't help himself as he jumped pretty moderate at times and no disrespect to the second jockey but he played into our hands.
Bombadero all the way at Wexford
I'm delighted with that. We have had a frustrating time with him and he had a wind op. We've been trying to win a race with him for two years and we have always thought a bit of him so I'm delighted he finally done it today.
Brassil off the mark
I was lucky to get him off Dermot Kelly who gave up training. It''s great for Conor (18yo) to have his first winner. He is based with Dessie Hughes. His older brother, David, won on his first ride in France there recently, in a mile and a half race on the level for Francois Cottin.
Great win for the Ryans with Cnoc
He is a good horse and only got his ground today. The summer didn't come for him. He is a genuine horse and is as game as a pebble. He has plenty of ability and he is a half-brother to Ally Cascade (runs tomorrow in Naas) of Noel Meade's. I didn't want to leave him off after his Listowel run so it's good to finish like this.
Killyglass a name to remember
I don't know where the money came for him because I didn't have a penny on him. I was glad of that bit of rain beforehand as it just made it safe. I was in two minds whether or not to run him before that. He is doing everything right at home and I like him a lot. His next stop will probably be at the Brightwells Sales. I bought him at the Derby Sales around a year ago.
