Jer's Girl a landmark Grade One for Cromwell
That's fantastic. I couldn't believe how well she did it. I quietly fancied her. It's brilliant. I'm in shock and she's done it so well. I wasn't worried about the two and a half miles particularly as it isn't bottomless ground. All her form is solid but you just don't know about a juvenile taking on the older horses. Punchestown has to be part of the plans. Her (former) owners were against going to Cheltenham on the faster ground, and in fairness it looks a good decision.
Acapella Bourgeois toughs it out well
He's very, very good. The further he goes the better. He was very tough today, he really battled. He doesn't mind that ground. He (Johnny Burke) did exactly what we asked him to do - make all the use of his big stride and kick on when he needed to and that's what he did.

Townend doubles up on impressive Solita
Lovely ride, great jockey A very confident ride and he had loads of mare turning in. She jumped well thank God. I'm just delighted she has large black type now and Robert Hennelly will be sitting at home delighted I'm sure and I hope to God he's okay at home because he gets very nervous for a race.
Forge Meadow makes quite a debut
I've been trying to win this race for a while and had the second (Sunni May) last year. She has been showing us that she is useful but you never really know what you need in this race. She will go for the Mares Listed Bumper at Punchestown. She's entitled to go for that now.
