In-foal Timeforwest bags Cork's Grade 3 Chase
she was scanned in foal to Getaway on Friday and there were horses in today's race that weren't running to their form and my biggest worry was Westerner Point who was always running to his form. She (Timeforwest) is improving away and if she alright she'll go for the mares' chase at Punchestown on the Thursday. She'll stay running during the summer and she has a nice mark over hurdles and she could now get into the Galway Plate. She gets as far as Galway and we'll try and nick some more black-type with her. Cathal Ennis picked her out in the sales last August in Doncaster after winning five races for Jonjo O'Neill and she is a lovely filly. The syndicate have her leased off Cathal and it's great for them. They had a winner here 21 years ago with Micko's Dream who won the same race and they're lapping this up.
Crossed My Mind evokes happy memories for Moore
I had it in the back of my mind to go back for a hurdle and following his last chase run he was still a maiden, so it made sense to leave him a maiden over fences for next season. It was a nice pot, the race was the right trip and I couldn't believe he went out in the betting, as I thought he had a great chance. I'm delighted to get the win for JP (McManus) and Slippers (Madden) and it was needed! He is a sweet horse and he'll be a grand horse for chasing next season. There is a handicap hurdle over 2m4f on the Saturday at Punchestown but I don't know if he'd make the cut and it will be very competitive. We might let him and bring him back for Listowel next season. This has been a lucky track and I rode a double here on Easter Monday once; I got a puncture between Mitchelstown and Mallow and Tommy Wade stopped to help me.

A plan comes together for Sneaky Getaway
He is a very straightforward horse and we learned wisely from Danny Mullins earlier in the day when he exploited a nicer bit of ground on the outside. It worked the oracle as the first two home raced out wide the whole way around. The run under our belt was a huge advantage and he'll be a nice horse for the summer. He'll progress and might get an entry at Punchestown but it might be a bit quick. He is definitely a nice horse for a winners' bumper and is by the right sire in Getaway.
