Jetez puts in Power-packed display
The drop back to two miles wasn't ideal for him and he could be very competitive on good ground in novice hurdles during the summer. He has plenty of experience and put that to good use and he wants 2m 4f. I’ve been waiting since the beginning of February for good ground for him. Two miles was a bit short for him so we will be looking for a two and a half mile novice.
Rachael & Rosie gain Limerick maiden hurdle success
All About Alfie wins a Limerick thriller
I thought his price was too good for me! It's not like I'd be having a whole lot on him but he was too big a price for me to back him! I'm happy he won though. He likes nice ground, not rock-hard ground and he could go to Tipperary next.
Nick Lost finds his winning groove
Damut wins on first start for Winters
The old dog for the dog as he used his experience. He had more experience than any of the rest of them and we were hopeful enough of him. We have him six weeks and he came to us from pre-trainer Tom Barry who gave him to us in great order. We did no miracles with him and Tom did a great job with the horse. In a beginners chase, he was like the school-master inside there and he stood out today.
Super-sub Power completes Mullins' Limerick double
it was a great spare ride to get but it was unfortunate for Rachael. I actually rode her before in Naas when she was second to Benie Des Dieux and she is a brilliant jumper and that's her big asset. She was able to dictate with the step up in trip today and we had things under control most of the way. She is some jumper in fairness to her and it was nice to get it.
Sheehy and Treacy team up with Grey Mountain Mist
Danny (Mullins) said the last day he didn't like going left-handed and he is what he is as a handicap chaser. Good ground is the key to him and he might get another win hopefully, as he is also well handicapped over hurdles.
Gallowglass one for Ryans in Limerick
That was lovely and I was hoping he'd build on his first run, which was encouraging. I've had a heap of placed horses recently and this has made up for them!
