Emperor Of Exmoor grinds them down
He did it well. He went on the ground although we didn't know if he would or not. Hopefully he's good enough to win a novice and the fact that he goes on good ground will be a help. He'll go chasing in the autumn.
Pivot Bridge right back to form
Dane proves the King for Mullins/Townend
The ground was a big help, and we'll look at the big two and a half miles handicap hurdle at Punchestown. He's not a chaser so we may look at the Flat for him, although I don't want to fire him up too much as we've been trying to get him settled over hurdles. The hood worked well today.
Fahey has Lots of Memories of Fairyhouse
I was more than quietly confident. He had form on goodish ground. He finished well in Galway on it. I think I over-raced him on heavy ground. He was running so well it was hard to pull the plug on him as he kept getting graded placed. He'll probably run in the three mile Grade 1 at Punchestown, it's a novice race. We might get graded placed. I have all the family at home.
Rebel takes full advantage in dramatic Powers
He came off the bridle a fair way out just like he did at Mallow the last day. The horses have not been flying for the last six months, and I'd say there is more in him. I know he's a nine-year-old but I felt today was really the first time he was ready to run in a Grade 1. We'll give him a couple of weeks off and we may go for the Grimes Hurdle at Tipperary. The Galway Plate could be a race for him after that.

Ronayne (84) gets first training success!
I ride the horse out every day. I felt this horse would be the type that would appreciate some extra care! I never thought he was as good as that and I can say he's only three quarters fit, but he's shown what he can do and I'm absolutely thrilled. I had seven horses over the years with Paddy Mullins and they all won. Probably the best one was Moon Duster who won 24 races around 1965. Fair play to Willie Mullins, he was one of the first people to come up and congratulate me afterwards.
