Moveable a nice Asset for connections
That was all part of a great plan to utilise his eight pounds allowance for not winning a bumper or a flat race. I had hoped he'd win a flat race before now. He'll mix it. He's so good at home but those easy fix hurdles can be a bit starry first time out. I told Emmet to jump out and that he'd be very green.
Mullins staff work the oracle on Dancer
I'm delighted with that filly. She was stiff this morning when we took her out but I have to thank my staff for warming her up. They spent hours walking her and it paid off. Virginie Bascop (formerly with John Oxx) is a vet from France that works in the yard. She worked on her this morning and she does tremendous work.
Holden sweeping up at Tramore
Miley Shah one to remember for Kenny & Walsh
He went down to the first the last day and butted it and that was the end of that. We put cheek-pieces on him today, upped him in trip, we let the young fella out of the yard ride him and it's all helped to do the trick. I hope the handicapper won't be too hard on him. We'll probably up him in trip again and put him in a handicap. I've had two point-to-point winners and I've had my licence three years. We have four horses for the track for the winter. My father, Simon Joe owns the horse and he has had horses with Irene Oakes and others in the past.
Bang bounces back to Form
I thought he would do that twelve months ago (last season) but he has been very disappointing. I had great things in mind for him. He is well handicapped over hurdles but he lost his way due to injury and other problems. He will go for a chase now at Galway in six weeks' time.
Instant makes an impact at Tramore
We always liked him. He missed a few at Killarney when he was favourite and he was found to be lame after that race. He made a mistake at Killarney at the last fence with a circuit to go and he must have hurt himself at that fence.
Kilkenny men dominate at Tramore too
I've been waiting for this race all summer but we wanted good ground. I'd suppose all the rest of them may have been the same. I'm delighted with that and she may go for a flat race and then maybe a hurdle.
