Knockeenonthedoor's defection (off-feed) from the opening maiden hurdle at Tramore left the way clear for first reserve Moveable Asset and he took his chance under Emmet Mullins to score by four and three parts of a length.
The 11/10 favourite, having his third outing for Willie Mullins and his first over flights, was always on the gallop and there wasn't many worries for supporters of the market-leader once he threw a good leap at the last, going clear on the run-in to account for the fellow prominent racer Angles Hill
Willie Mullins said: "That was all part of a great plan to utilise his eight pounds allowance for not winning a bumper or a flat race.
"I had hoped he'd win a flat race before now. He'll mix it. He's so good at home but those easy fix hurdles can be a bit starry first time out.
"I told Emmet to jump out and that he'd be very green.
"The owners have Rathasker Stud - they had Park Appeal and Park Express - they have this lad's sire (Trans Island) as well." (DM & EM)
