Design lucky for Oliver
We've always thought a lot of this horse and he's always shown us plenty at home. He disappointed a bit last time out but we just put it down to greenness and he did it well today. Chris (Hayes) said he picked up well for him and he's got a great cruising speed and is a very straight forward type. I think he's a very good horse and we've always liked him and he'll make a good stakes horse.

Lyons/Murtagh win Birdcatcher
The Birdcatcher is the number one race for Ger he absolutely loves this race and he'll be delighted he won it. The blinkers really perked him up today and he showed he had plenty of Speed in York and this was always the plan and it all worked out well to make it even more sweeter. He's a lovely big framed horse and he's going to make a lovely three year old.
Condon back in the winner's enclosure
He's class and he won well today. It was his first time winning left-handed so that was a bit of a positive. Once there was steady pace the race played into his hands. Our immediate target is the Grade 3 WKD Core Hurdle at Down Royal next month.
Thousand Stars easy winner at Naas
It's unfortunate we don't have him in Thurles on Thursday. He hasn't jumped a fence yet so I'm not sure what we'll do go chasing or stick to hurdling. I think he'll go on softer ground and he's lots of gears and I'd say we could drop him back to two miles.
Berry continues his good run
She's in Autumn Sales at Newmarket so we'll have to discuss with the owners as to what they want to do. She ran well at Ascot even though she finished tenth of seventeen, she never got a run through with the slow place. Ryan Moore who rode her that day said he was very happy with her and she ran very well despite having no run. She's a tough and genuine sort.
Oxx completes quick double
She's very genuine and she stuck her nose out and battled very well. She's a filly that needs perfect conditions, she likes the yielding ground as she doesn't go on soft or good to firm ground or the poly surface and she only runs well over a mile and a half. She was also dropped two pounds after her last run, so it all helped and worked out well. I don't know if she'll ever repeat it. She's a very well bred filly and she'll probably go to stud.
William Lucky for Cooper
We decided to come here because it was the safe option, the ground had an ease in it as he likes soft ground and it's left handed track and prefers going left handed. He's a big strong horse and I'd say we'll probably go hurdling with him next.
