Plan comes to fruition for Double Pink
It was the plan to go out in front as she is very hard on herself. I think if she got a bit more racing she would learn how to settle. It was only her fourth run over hurdles today. We had her as a four-year-old and she ran once. Then the offer came up to lease her, she was leased out to a syndicate and Willie Mullins trained her. She was second in a bumper for Willie. She got carried out in Wexford on her first run back with us. I thought she'd run well that day. In Gowran, it rained, the ground got very heavy and she was very hard on herself on that kind of ground. She reversed the form today on the little bit better ground. She'll stay over hurdles now for the moment.
MacDermott 'learning away' under O'Sullivan
I'm so grateful to Mr Masterson and the Mullins camp for the opportunity. He is improving all the time, he wants a trip and soft ground. I’m very pleased that he is improving. He is really a chaser in the making, a novice chaser for next year. I might get one more run into him if the ground stays right. I just took this opportunity after all the rain that came. We didn't have any autumn weather for jumping horses and he wasn't ready then. He is a big chasing type.

Mighty Jeremy given Power-packed ride in Tramore
In fairness to Ian, he came up with the plan. He said there is not going to be much pace and that he'd make the running. I said to him 'if this goes wrong everyone will think I'm after losing it!' He jumped off last in Clonmel but made all today. . Ian has been around the block and knows his stuff. He gave him a serious ride, he is a talented rider. . I was giving out about the handicapper giving us 8lb, but I can't really give out now. We will see what the handicapper does, but we actually have him in a handicap chase here tomorrow, he is third reserve. If there is a couple of non-runners I wouldn't mind coming back. If he gets in, he'll come back. . We have 10 riding out and it's just myself and my wife Claire at home. She has done all the work with this horse.
Freddie Robdal a poignant winner under Blackmore
Brideswell Lad toughs it out under Slevin
He can do it over the shorter trip as well as longer trips. He was unfortunate over shorter at Leopardstown last month. He stayed at it well now today. He is a half-brother to Cloth Cap and won his maiden hurdle here at Tramore. We will campaign him over the summer at the festivals, he is more of a summer horse and we were a little bit concerned about the ground for him today. I thought it might have been a bit soft for him, but he handled it okay. I'm hoping he'll get into some of the better handicaps over the summer. We can dream on anyway!
