Mighty Jeremy confirmed his rich seam of form when routing the field in the second split of the extended 2m4f handicap hurdle at Tramore.
Vastly different tactics were used as he made all today, whereas 10 days ago in Clonmel he was held up and in fact slightly detached in a patiently-ridden race.
Ian Power sent him on from flagfall and the pair readily moved clear after the penultimate obstacle.
The 15/8 favourite powered home by seven and a-half lengths from Spring Street (40/1). Unheralded was some 13 lengths further adrift in third at 28/1.
Trainer Liam O'Brien said: "In fairness to Ian, he came up with the plan. He said there is not going to be much pace and that he'd make the running. I said to him 'if this goes wrong everyone will think I'm after losing it!' He jumped off last in Clonmel but made all today.
"Ian has been around the block and knows his stuff. He gave him a serious ride, he is a talented rider.
"I was giving out about the handicapper giving us 8lb, but I can't really give out now. We will see what the handicapper does, but we actually have him in a handicap chase here tomorrow, he is third reserve. If there is a couple of non-runners I wouldn't mind coming back. If he gets in, he'll come back.
"We have 10 riding out and it's just myself and my wife Claire at home. She has done all the work with this horse."
