Shamkhal prevails despite market drift
That is great for Danny Houlihan (member of the winning owners the Lyreen Syndicate). He is a great supporter of the game, one of the sound fellows. He has had plenty of horses over the years (Lyreen Wonder in the past and currently Lyreen Legend). Hopefully he will build on today's win and do all jobs down the line. We have no immediate plans for him now.
Quick double for Walsh & Martin as Dara delivers
I have no immediate plans for him now. It's great that it worked out. You couldn't have better owners. It's great for Aidan Shiels and Daniel Harnett (who also owns Dunguib) who bought the horse before Christmas.
Three from three for Ruby at Killarney
He is a fine big horse and will probably go to jump a fence shortly. He is more of a chaser. I haven't had a winner for a while (Taraval, March 22nd) and it can get frustrating. It's a bit of a relief to win and it is possible he might be sent to the sales now.
Satu just takes the feature for Doyle & Butler
He ran a cracker in Punchestown. He was well in at the weights and he is a class horse on the flat. We got his wind done last year and that seems to have transformed him. The Galway hurdle is an option for him now and we may run him on the flat off his mark of 67.
Cyprusormilan scores on handicap debut
He is owned by a Welsh woman Trish Powell who is involved with Hanford's Chemist. He will be kept on the go now. That was his first venture over the trip but he is versatile trip wise. He jumped well and seemed to like the good ground.
Shot From The Hip bounces back to form
That is small compensation for losing Corbally Cross earlier (was put down after breaking his leg). The better ground suited him today and he may stay in training now and get an entry in the Galway Plate.
Supreme provides Dorgan with his first track win
I have four horses in training at the moment. He is a nice horse and is improving all the time. He might have a break now.
Blacklough battles to bumper success
It was nearly time to be coming up with a winner!. He is a smashing horse and I'd imagine he will be put out now. He is a forward type of horse and he will be ready for a hurdle around October. I don't think he will go for a winners bumper unless the owner wants him to.
