We bought him out of Fozzy’s with the intention of running him in Dundalk. We had plenty of hold ups and Paddy has done a good job with him. After he won (at Dundalk) we thought he’d go on and win a few more. He got cast in the box then he finished fourth but got a bit sick of the surface. We freshened him up and I thought he ran quite well in Leopardstown from a terrible draw. We put the cheek pieces back on and today was the first time he had a good draw for us. Hopefully he’s still in that grade and, if he is, he can win another one. He got himself all hot and bothered before the race, why I don’t know. A couple of the syndicate members got to come today. It’s their first time being involved in a horse and they have got a great buzz out of it.
