Swan wins opener at Limerick

I suppose that wasn't the greatest of races but he's a nice horse. He has been a bit difficult to train as he was very keen early in his career. I don't know what the plan is now, knowing the owner he'll probably want to sell him. I think he'll make a lovely chaser in time as he jumps well.

Knocknabooly wins Beamish Stout Hurdle

That was amazing, he's been off the track for two and half years and to come back and win like that was brilliant. The trip might have been a shade too short for him. The plan all going well is to head for Punchestown.

Russell wins aboard Stonemaster

Hourigan/Heskin strike at their local track

She's a grand mare and she ran well at Naas before she won at Thurles the last day. We'll probably go for the mares hurdle at Punchestown next. The better the ground is the better she is and she'd get a bit further too. I'm delighted for the owners, they bought this filly as a foal and have her seven years now. They've been very good to me.

Caim Hill benefits from Jagoes Mills fall

I don't really know what would have happened there but luck was on our side and that's important. He has the potential to be a Galway Plate horse. I think the better ground is in his favour and he's won around Galway twice before.

Hidden Universe impresses at Limerick

He did it very well. He just didn't enjoy Cheltenham, he didn't like the place. Punchestown will be considered now after that, it may come a bit quick but we'll see. He loves a bit of ease in the ground. I'm sure he'll go back on the flat at some stage over the Summer. We're very pleased with him.

Course specialist Jack Absolute wins again

That's his fifth win around here, we can't win anywhere else with him. We'll have to wait and see what to do next, he wouldn't want the ground to get any quicker.
