Hidden Universe from the Dermot Weld stable justified his short price after he landed the Kevin McManus Bookmakers Champion (Pro/Am) Flat Race under Robbie McNamara.
McNamara was always travelling well aboard the Linamix gelding, they took up the lead entering the straight and stayed on well inside the final furlong to score by an easy two lengths.
Kris Weld son of the winning trainer said afterwards: "He did it very well. He just didn't enjoy Cheltenham, he didn't like the place."
"Punchestown will be considered now after that, it may come a bit quick but we'll see. He loves a bit of ease in the ground."
"I'm sure he'll go back on the flat at some stage over the Summer. We're very pleased with him."
