Sandy storms to shock Sligo success
Rathmuck claims second win in three days
she was getting a bit of weight and was maybe entitled to win it but I thought it was a good performance. It was a fair call turning her out again so quick but the horses at home are in brilliant form so we'll stay going while they are going well. If she's okay she might go to Galway for the mares hurdles or a mile-and-a-half maiden on the Flat. If she doesn't go there, there is a nice programme for mares after that. We always thought she had loads of ability but last year I only had a handful of winners and a lot of horses were finishing placed. Thank god that's turned around and long may it continue!
Stormey springs shock for Mahon
That's a bit of a shock. I can't feel anything from the legs down — it must be what having a epidural is like!. I wasn't going to run him and took Usa out. He's a lovely top of the ground horse, has loads of gears and I didn't think he'd finish on that ground. I said to Donagh to drop him out the back and went down to the start to make sure he started. I told him to feel his way into it and just run as well as he could. I was happy two out that he was running a nice race but it was a bit of a shock from the last. He's a grand horse and we always thought a lot of him. He just needed a couple of runs and a bit of a break. He hadn't run for 292 days so we thought the day out would do him good.

The Mad Well scores second Sligo win
the race cut up a bit due to the ground but he's an improver. He came out of the last race well and I gave him a little holiday and he freshened up well. He likes a little ease in the ground and could go to Galway for the two-and-a-half mile handicap hurdle. It's great for the owners - they've been good supporters of mine and are a good bunch of people (Pauline Twiss, Stephen O'Brien, Joe White and Mark O'Sullivan).
Bobarlee takes Sligo bumper for Team Mullins
it took her a year to put it all together. Her run behind Don't Touch It was very good form and I'd say she has improved this season.
