De Bromhead introduces useful juvenile winner
She is a filly we have always liked but I thought she would probably need the run as I hadn’t done that much with her at home. I’m delighted with her and she’s done it well in the end. Ronan said it felt like they were only hacking, and he was really impressed by her. She’ll stay further no bother. Gorane (won on her second start at Dundalk and went on to score at Listed level) is the only other two-year-old winner I’ve had before.

Cleary continues good run with Landline
I’m delighted but not entirely surprised as we worked him on Thursday and we knew he’d improved. The handicapper went easy on us the last day and hopefully he won’t go too hard again. We might try him over seven at Galway as I’d like to have a runner there. He acts on any ground. He’s a pure pet in the yard and my grandson rides him around and he’s only seven. I have to thank Jim Bolger who put him my way last year and he wasn’t too hard on us either.
Soffia completes hat-trick in featured fillies handicap
I thought she was going to win easy at halfway and then I thought oh dear but she’s done it well. She’s improving and learning her game. It’s a good pot. I think now it’s time to go for black type and she may come back here for the Sweet Mimosa.
O'Donoghue doubles up with Night Of Power
I fancied him a bit last week but he hotted up in the preliminaries. The parade ring at the Curragh with all the temporary arrangements there and the bookmakers ring close by is getting a lot of horses worked up. He was calmer today and we put a hood on him and he was much more relaxed. He was too gassy in the race last week and pulled too hard. He finished out well today. He handles the ground well, he has a fast ground action, and stays a mile and a quarter. I’m not sure he’d go any further. He’ll go for something similar.
