Band makes successful hurdling debut
That was a lovely run. I think he will be quite a nice horse. The drop of rain did him no harm. The ground was much better than when he ran in a winners bumper here, the ground didn't suit him that day.
Super Oscar makes it four in-a-row
He is like wine, he is improving with age and he won snugly there. He has turned inside out and I'm not sure where he will go next. He might have one or two more runs before we give him a break for the summer. Additional reporting by Thomas Weekes
Elegant wins on first start for new connections
I'm delighted with that. He is a lovely horse and we were lucky to get him.The McManus's kindly sent him down to me and that is my first winner for them (his second horse for the McManus's, Alexander Leaving being the other).
The Blarney Rose is awarded win
Burn gets her Turn over fences
I'm delighted with her, it was coming. She has now won a bumper, a maiden hurdle, a conditions hurdle and a novice chase. She will be kept going during the summer on summer soft ground. Additional reporting by Thomas Weekes
Living Next Door sees off Muzak
He made a mistake two out and got a bit confused. It was the jockey that won the day. He was very fortunate to win. It wasn't a bad performance and he'll be kept on the go now.
The Job Is Right takes the Limerick bumper
I've always thought he would win a bumper but the saddle slipped out over his backside at Cork the last day and I thought he would win there. He is a lazy horse at home and I thought the blinkers would sharpen him up but he won't wear them over hurdles. He will go hurdling now and he is fitter than ever. Robbie said that he is a fair horse and he couldn't pull him up. He will go for a three mile maiden hurdle at Killarney now. He wants the ground a bit better than it was today. His owners, Jim and Mary Devine are very good owners. They are from Kilrush but living in London. Jim is a businessman and he hasn't had a winner since Deejaydee won at Cheltenham (won the National Hunt Chase at the Festival in 1999). The winner was bought for just €1,000 as a yearling at Tattersalls Ireland November Flat Sale in 2009 before making €13,000 as a three-year-old at the Goffs June National Hunt Sale in 2011.
