Cross Appeal emerges from the fog to win opener
He's an odd sort of a horse as he's loads of ability but he just does what he has to and you'll probably never see him win by further. He's very big for a three year old so he should improve. We will run him at Leopardstown over the Christmas and then go back there for the Grade 1 at the end of January. He's a contender for the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham as he's a nice horse that stays well.
Meade/Flood complete Fairyhouse double
There's not a whole lot between this lad and my other Grade 1 horse's. We just sneaked this lad into the race today on prize money. That wasn't a bad performance but because of his set-back last year I didn't want to over challenge him. We will wait until Leopardstown at Christmas and see what happens but he's a horse going the right way.
Instinctive scores for Hughes
He did it well and he had two nice runs in the Spring. I've no idea where we'll go next it's going to be hard from now on. We'll probably go for a winners of one or a handicap. I think he's going to make a lovely chaser in time.
Walsh excels on Mullin's Thousand Stars
We'll aim him for the Pierce Hurdle. Katie gave him a brilliant ride and she's very valuable for her weight.
Meade/Flood complete Fairyhouse treble
He might have just needed the run the last day he ran. . I know this race wasn't as good as the Troytown but he won well today. I think he's an English National horse, he's entered in the Welsh National and he'll probably spend of most his time running in those long distance handicaps in England.
