Jockey Katie Walsh excelled on the Willie Mullins trained Thousand Stars winner of the Bar One Racing Handicap Hurdle Grade C at Fairyhouse today.
Thick fog was the order of the day and, while visiblity was again poor, Walsh produced the talented son of Grey Risk with a well timed challenge to lead before the last, for a one and a half length win.
Winning trainer Mullins said afterwards: “We’ll aim him for the Pierce Hurdle. Katie gave him a brilliant ride and she’s very valuable for her weight.”
