Wild Wind wins thriller

she had a lovely run the first day and the form was franked when Seeharn won a Stakes race here yesterday. Johnny (Murtagh) gave her a very good ride and we will give her time now before stepping her up to Stakes company. We will stick to this trip next time.

Big plans for impressive Precious Gem

She is a very adaptable filly both in terms of ground and riding tactics. I left a bit to work on before she won at Limerick as this race was always her Summer target. We own her ourselves and have taken our time with her. There is a Group 1 race at Deauville in August and that is likely to be her next target. She will be kept in training for next year and I am confident that you haven't seen the best of her yet.

Chinese White goes out on a high

This is a very special moment. I am thrilled to have trained a first Group 1 winner for Lady O'Reilly who has been a fantastic patron of ours down the years. I am also delighted that Chinese White is the mare to do it. Chinese White has been a fantastic servant, she has won at Group 2 and Group 3 level and has been multiple placed at Group 1 level before today.

Sharisse comes out best in blanket finish

This was the plan for her all year. She is decent when she is right and I will try and find some black type for her. A close friend of mine died this morning which has taken the gloss off the win.

Roderic causes shock

Roderic O'Connor had a lovely run the first day and is obviously a very smart horse. He was given an easy time in front, he jumped off and no one followed him.

Galway next for Fisher Bridge

I thought he'd win and it's nice when they prove you right. He will go to Galway next and I will make entries for him in the Amateur race, Galway Hurdle and Plate. We ran him in two last year which may not have been a good idea. I have a feeling that he may not be quick enough for the hurdle.
