Dinaria gets the verdict in stewards room
She's a grand honest mare that stays. She definitely got impeded and it's unfortunate for the connections of the second. We got a bit of luck today but they are two nice horses. I wouldn't say it was the strongest race in the world so I don't know whether she'll be going to Cheltenham.

It was great to get the first one and I'm delighted it was owned by Leonard (Kelly). Leonard and his friend Pat have had horses with my father for a lot of years. They had 51 winners with my father so that's the first with me. I'm over the moon — delighted. The ground was a good help to her as she wants it soft. We're really properly getting soft ground now for the first time this year. If you haven't got the speediest ones you have to wait until the ground balances it up. She's in at Clonmel on Thursday. I'll have to have a look at it and make up my mind when I see how she comes out of it. It's shorter and she looked like she needed all of the 2m4f today. We'll have a think about it.

It was hard fought. Ruby said he was going to sit quiet on him today and try be there at the business end. That's exactly what happened. It's very very tough going, and ground I think that he doesn't like in particular so it's fortunate to get a win like that on that ground. He's in Aintree and that would be his owners preferred option so that's probably where he goes. Obviously I'll enter him in the Irish National here being a course winner but I'd imagine it's Aintree. I'd imagine he won't be going to Cheltenham. Ruby looked at the race and thought there was plenty of pace. He didn't think he needed to be involved too early and took a chance but he had the confidence in the horse to come through. I'd imagine if he had fallen four or five out people would have said he was never going to be involved anyway. He took a view on the race. I said go ahead, do that and let's see what happens. It worked out perfectly.
Alamein jumps to it on chasing debut
Not bad for first time out. He's had a few problems but hopefully we have him sorted out. You couldn't ask for any more but I have no plans for him.

The race wasn't run to suit him. He's a nice horse and he might be a horse for Punchestown. He works well and we like him a lot. He's a horse for next year really. He was only learning what to do 50 yards from the line. I like him. Jamie is brilliant. He rides out a lot for us at home and he knows the horses.
