Smitty Bacall gains third career win at Killarney
he had a good run at Tramore the last day but Tramore doesn't really suit him. I was hopign it wasn't going to come too soon and Paul said he idled in front. He loves that good ground and wants a trip. He'll be a nice staying type next year and if the ground is good he'll go to Listowel for a staying handicap hurdle. We might then put him away for next year.

Cullen and Wicklow Bloodstock team up for further Killarney success
I'm delighted with him (The Last Marju) and he has done it well. He likes this track and it's his third time winning here. Denis felt the step to 2m4f was no bother to him and if we were going to win it, we were going to win it with a turn of foot. I don't think he has an issue at this trip and now and he jumped fantastic. He has grown up a lot since last year and has learned how to settle and enjoys jumping fences. I'll have a lot at Listowel or a Graded chase at Tipperary next. I'm delighted for Nick Peacock too as he has been great to me and it's great to have this horse and Arctic Fire in the yard. There was a good neighbour of mine, who passed away a couple of months ago Michael McDonald who recommended to Nick that I get the horses to pre-train and this horse ended up staying with me to go jumping. It has worked out really well with both horses now.
Peregrine soars in Killarney feature
I'm absolutely thrilled to get him back winning,. He very seldom runs a bad race but things went wrong when we brought him to Ayr and the ground went against him in Galway. I think the blinkers worked today and sharpened him up and his jumping was very quick. He has had a light campaign and there are lots of options for him; he'll go to the Kerry National if the ground is quick enough but there's also a little hurdle race for him at Down Royal next week. We'll see where are with him but he'll be kept busy away as when the ground turns soft we know we are at nothing with him. He is owned by a brilliant family, the Byrnes from Offaly so it's great.
McLoughlin 'gives it a shot' and wins with Bobsfirth
I bought him to sell him initially and we really liked him but he disappointed as a four and five-year-old as he was weak. I thought today's race would cut up to only a few winners but we couldn't see Willie Mullins' (Yukon Lil) being beaten really but said we'd give it a shot. I'm delighted and we can still go for a winners of one and might do that or sell him. We have options now whereas last year I was pulling my hair out with him!
