M.P. Walsh, rider of Voices Of Spring, trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had blood on the nose post race
Owing to low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for Hurdle 3 (third last) to be omitted from this race
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Voices Of Spring, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood on the nose as a result of an exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Eight Till Late, ridden by B. Browne, Scheu Time, ridden by P. Townend, and Like An Open Book, ridden by D.N. Russell, where it appeared Like An Open Book had his ground taken momentarily by Scheu Time and rolled onto Eight Till Late. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards attributed the incident to accidental interference and took no further action
The Stewards enquired into an incident after the last hurdle involving Political Policy, ridden by G.N. Fox, and The King Of Brega, ridden by D. Robinson, where it appeared The King Of Brega was carried towards the stand side
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advice Mr. Fox to ride with more care in future.
