The Stewards interviewed C. O'Donoghue, declared rider of Paytheprice (GB), in relation to his late arrival to weigh out which necessitated his substitution. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who explained the circumstances surrounding his delay and apologised for it. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Rule 196(v) and having considered his record, fined him ?200.
