Townend back with a winner
Mullins & Townend double up with Epicuris
Spancil Hill relishes conditions at Gowran
This is a lucky track for us and we've always got a few winners here. They need time and when you give it to them they tend to improve. He's by Flemensfirth and they can get through that ground.
Big race success for Spillane with Goulane Chosen
Mullins works his magic on Pairofbrowneyes
He did what he's bred to do and we'll look forward to all those long distance chases with him. He's qualified now for the Aintree National and that was the prime reason for running him here today. We'll see where we go now. He's in the Irish one, in at Aintree and we could also wait for Punchestown. He jumps great, and is a fine big strong staying chaser.
Review completes Townend/Mullins 36/1 four-timer
It's a nice day for Paul. We'll probably look at around that trip for him again and we might look at Fairyhouse. He goes through that ground but I think he'll handle better ground as well. With his style of running he'd handle better ground and probably a longer trip. It's nice to see the horses running like that and the two guys are back now full of confidence. What more could we ask for.
Fenno's Storm lands Tetratema for Queallys
That was brilliant. He loved that 3m1f around there as he's real tough and he'll gallop forever. His jumping is still a little bit sticky and he takes a bit of riding but thankfully it paid off and I was delighted. It's a prestigious race. I won it in 2014 and it's a great race to win. Today was the plan for him as we knew he'd like it around here. We might look at a big staying handicap chase next autumn. He needs it bottomless but he's an ultimate stayer and gallops forever. He would go around again. He's a lovely horse. I'm hoping his jumping will come together a little bit better as he jumps a bit high.
Fabulous 54/1 five-timer for Mullins at Gowran
He's a fine big horse and a real chaser, he's about 17 hands. He loves testing conditions and loves jumping. We're looking forward to him going jumping in the future. He might just get another run in a bumper this spring and probably be put away then. I'd say he'll like a good ease in the ground looking at the size of him so we won't be complaining about weather like this.
