She's been knocking on the door. Her one poor run, I suppose, was at Cork the first day but you'd forgive her as it was very heavy ground,. I thought the ground might come against her today but Shane said she got it easy enough in front. She had the form in the book to win one of these and it's great to get it done. She didn't do much wrong today and she handles better ground as well. She has options going forward. The owners are delighted and it's nice to see people getting a thrill out of winning. She's a home-bred and it's important to them. She's actually in foal to Ruler Of The World. She'll probably have one or two more races and then go to the paddocks. If she does no more it's job done.

He said he liked the ground. He's always showed us a bit at home and I thought he'd definitely win off his mark,. Ross (Coakley) was very happy the last day and said he maybe just didn't get up the hill (at Navan). Today the cut in the ground and a mile-and-one around here seemed ideal for him. I'd say he's a three-year-old hurdler in the making. He's big and he's tall and maybe there is a bit more improvement in him. Hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on him.

He ran well the last day and the extra rain was no harm,. She gave him a lovely ride. He's been running well all year so it's great to get a win out of him. He pays his way every year. He was one from 35 before today and it's hard to win with him. Today was a good day for him. . We'll look for something similar now and a wet summer would suit. He's a nice fun horse.
Canary by far the best in Gowran feature
He hasn't got the spark he used to have but once the ground come like this he goes on it and the others don't. Last year he won in Listowel when it was bottomless down there. He once won over five buts he's lost his old toe. He keeps going in that muck.
