The winner, Fact Flow (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Leicester on 12 March 2021 where the gelding finished third of the four finishers, beaten by 27 lengths on Heavy ground.
Dai Burchell’s explanation that Fact Flow (IRE) had appreciated the better ground, which was officially described as Good, Good to Firm in places on this occasion, was noted.
Fact Flow (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, James Best reported that Discko Des Plages (FR), which started favourite and finished second, ran too freely.
