A payout scrum as favourite Cosmic Horizon obliges
It was a good performance and it wasn't a bad race. He was unlucky at Galway the last day and it's nice to get a win into him. Joe (Schmidt) was in Galway the last day but isn't here today. Joe is good friends of ours and it's nice to get a winner for him. I think he has an interest - Joseph (O'Brien) would tell you more but you'd never know he could get another horse and I think he enjoys going racing.
Thiswaycadeaux a gift for punters
I never gave Billy any instructions - I never have to, and he is after riding her a few times but they went too fast in front. She is a grand filly, is big and strong and the ease in the ground helped her too. She is progressing but they get a bit cute when apprentices ride them a few days and Billy settled her back today; she ran a bit free at the Curragh the last time.
Best Not Argue as O'Briens bring up their double
She is not a filly I know a whole lot about but she has done that nicely today. She is fairly versatile (ground-wise) and it's not that slow out there, it's good ground. It's her first run for Joseph and it's nice to get a win into her and hopefully she can win again.
Cleary on the Landline from Roscommon to Listowel!
We were expecting that after his run here the last day [when third after being short of room]. He loves his racing and goes on any type of ground and it's a pleasure to have him in the yard. There's a handicap for him at Listowel; he's as good an excuse as you'll get to go to Listowel!
McCreery and Lee seal brace through Bongiorno
The experience helped and she had a nice draw and we said we had to use it. We were caught out here the last day when we travelled into the straight and we thought she'd quicken but they sprinted away from her and she came back at them again. We were adamant to make sure it didn't turn into a sprint and to go a good even tempo the whole way; I thought Billy gave her a lovely ride. She is well bred and the breeders would be very much black-type hunters so we'll hunt for a bit of black type wherever we have to go. She looked a dour, mile and a half filly today and we'll look at all the options now.
Decision to run Hamley pays off in style
She wasn't running at 9.50am yesterday morning to be honest but we saw there wasn't a huge field and I rang Kevin O'Ryan (jockeys' agent) and he said there's a chance of it cutting up so we said we'd let her take her chance. I was worried about the ground but it dried out all week and it's great. The plan is to go to the Curragh on Champions Weekend; she always runs well at the Curragh and will definitely get in now. She's an ideal filly for her syndicate and she always runs a good race for them.
Flicker Flame ignites an almost 500/1 treble for O'Brien
Coen bags double and earns Cromwell's praise
She was left a little wide which was no harm as when she gets crowded she is inclined to put the head up but it worked out great and he gave her a peach of a ride. She was due her turn and had been banging on the door and had been very genuine this year. We thought she had a few issues last year but she has been trying hard and a few days she led she just didn't get home. She took a lead today and it worked out perfect for her. She'll go for something similar next.
