Approach easily lands the odds
It will be hard to find another race as easy as this. He will go for a Graded race next, probably the Tara Hurdle at Navan.
Simenon proves way too strong
We were disappointed with him the last day but that was a big improvement today, and we'll keep him to the minimum trip as he has loads of gears. He will go for a novice hurdle next and we will see what he can do. Easter time might be perfect for him on better ground.
Ballyburke repays patient approach
This horse got very sick last season when my horses were not right, and we decided to leave him off as he's a winter horse. When we brought him back in August he still wasn't right but the owner has been hugely supportive. The plan now is to go chasing, and he will come back in two weeks time for a beginners chase at Navan.
Dramatic win for Belle Brook
The fact that she had cheekpieces on today helped her to dominate from the front. I've no real plans but its great to get that win.
Russell doubles up on Jack
Davy gave him some ride, there's no two ways about it! I couldn't fancy him coming here today as he'd only won in Limerick before.
Gentleman completes Mullins treble
Patrick felt he raced very green and I'd expect a good bit of improvement as he has a good pedigree. I'm not sure if we'll go for a winners bumper or go jumping.
