Butler Family win opener at Kilbeggan
We will probably go for handicap with him in a month's time. We have no real plans for him, he loves the firm ground and he's not big enough to go chasing. He is owned by my daughter Eileen who also led him up.
Hamilton Talkin' Tough
Delighted for the owner Robert, his horses have been running well lately. This lad ran disappointingly at Ballinrobe, he struck into himself early on and thankfully Slippers Madden pulled him up straight away. We will probably head to Galway with him next.
Clifton Debut wins for De Bromhead
That was great, he's tough out. The key to him is the ground and we've had to wait 10 months to get it. One of the owners is Hugh Bleahan who we bought Sizing Europe from and I'm delighted for them all. We may have a look at a 3 mile race in Bellewstown or Tipperary and then maybe have a look at Galway all subject to ground.
Hughes records double
He's a tough little divil, he was the first one beaten but he just keeps going and he stays and stays. He was running off a nice handicap mark today. We might have a look at the Midlands National here next for him. He seems to love the good ground which is strange considering he's by Turtle Island.
Golden Kite keeps punters happy
He's good and tough, he looked like he was cantering after 3 out but he slipped and looked beaten but he got a great ride from Shane and he's very game. He will have a little holiday now to freshen him up and there should be still plenty of fast ground for him then.
