The well backed favourite Golden Kite of Adrian Maguire's kept punters happy when coming home in front in The Loughnagore Beginners Chase under Shane Hassett.
Winning trainer Maguire said afterwards, "He's good and tough, he looked like he was cantering after 3 out but he slipped and looked beaten but he got a great ride from Shane and he's very game. He will have a little holiday now to freshen him up and there should be still plenty of fast ground for him then."
