Moir Desire takes Kilbeggan opener
I was worried about the fast ground for Moi Desire coming here as she is a good ground mare and i wouldn't want to run her too often on fast ground. We'll mix it between Flat and hurdling now and she may go for a Flat maiden at Galway next.
Frankford causes 33/1 upset
Frankford was bred and originally raced by Michael Bowe (of Limestone Lad fame) and when I got the horse, Michael told me to wait for better ground with the horse. I've had him since Christmas but he has had a lot of setbacks but today's ground was perfect for him. I've five horses in training, have had a few point to point winners, but this is my first racecourse winner.
D Four Dave lands Kilbeggan gamble
three miles suits him well and he jumped great . he handled the ground well enough but I've no plans from here. His part-owner Douglas Taylor was married on Saturday so today will help pay for that party!
Dancera delivers for Torrens
Dancera loves that fast ground and jumped well today. We'll mix it between hurdling and the Flat now and may go to Galway for something.
Horgan's 'luck' holds up with Arctic Zone
Arctic Zone disappointed in her last two chases and I put blinkers on her at home and they seemed to light her up . hopefully she'll win more summer chases over three miles.
Townend Blazes to Kilbeggan double
Blaze Trailer has been consistent but was finding getting his head in front difficult . I thought he would win here the last day but didn't seem to go through with his effort. Hopefully he'll come back here for the Midlands National next.
