An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final furlong involving the winner, Wheres Maud Gone (IRE), ridden by Adam Wedge and Condesa (IRE), placed second, ridden by Daryl Jacob.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Wheres Maud Gone (IRE)’s placing as Condesa (IRE) lost no momentum and was being held at the line to be beaten by a neck.
Wedge was cautioned for careless riding as he failed to take sufficient steps to prevent his mount carrying Jacob slightly off his intended line.
