George gets off the mark
The ground was shocking at the Curragh and he couldn't pick up in it,. He really quickened up today and sprinted all the way to the line. He wants good ground as Henrythenavigator wanted it quick. He's a stallion going places. He's always shown plenty of speed from day one. He's only won a maiden there but I'd imagine he'll step up to listed or group class now.
Bangalore edges verdict for McCourt
He's an awful lot better on his home work and has loads of ability. Now that he's got his confidence he might go the right way,. He needs good ground and five or six furlongs. He didn't get seven the last day when we made too much use of him. He'll be kept going during the winter here and if it doesn't dry up he'll get a bit of a break before that. We could do with a few more meetings here. It's tough for anything that wants good ground at the minute and nearly everything I have, jumps and Flat want good ground.
Mars impresses on Dundalk debut
He has a really good attitude and is very uncomplicated,. We have been waiting a while for a bit of nice ground. He would have had no problem starting off over six. He's a lovely horse. He was green as it's his first run and he made the running - you very rarely see them win on the bridle doing that. He won nicely and will come on for it.
Murt makes it two at Dundalk
That was straight forward. He's a three-year-old and is probably just improving a bit,. The idea is to go to Galway if the ground is good but if it's not good we'll wait. We'll look for something over seven or a mile, whatever comes up.
Suehail wins tight finish after drama
He's a lovely horse and it's no more than he deserves,. It's some compensation for Malih after Dandy Boy. He's going to make a lovely four-year-old and will keep progressing. He'll also improve for a bit of a step up in trip. We might think about the Topaz Mile at Galway. It's a tough race and he's a big baby but we'll have a look. Fergal gave him a great ride.
David does the business
In fairness to him he's been beaten by a nice one everytime,. We ran him in horrible ground at Bellewstown as he's so straight forward but once Gary asked him the wheels just spun. He ran there as he was on route to the sales but he was stiff after that and didn't go. Then this race came out of the blue. We know ground has been the issue. I've always liked him and bought two more Kodiacs because of him. It's the same for everyone at the moment the ground is shocking. My yard is suffering as the horses want good ground. Hopefully they'll put on more races here.
Cebuano gains overdue win
He's gutsy and on the run the other day he's entitled to win one of these,. He enjoys the surface and is a good strong horse so he's well up to carrying the weight. If ever a horse deserved to win a race it's him. He's a little bit ground dependant and could be a lad for up here during the winter.
