State Of Rest first 2020 juvenile winner for Joseph
Acquiescent a willing partner for Leonard
Koolasice skates in for Murtagh and Halpin
Mogwli gets McCreery off the mark for the season
My wife bred him so I'm delighted. We have a half-brother going to the sales at the end of the year and the dam (Susiescot) has bred two winners from two runners,. He's a tough, hardy, little fella and he's for the apprentices to ride. I have two apprentices signing on and he'll keep them going for the rest of the year. He's bomb-proof and loves his racing, hopefully he'll pay for himself.
Ted lands touch on Flat debut
Game Pearl strikes again as Murtagh doubles up
McCourt runners continue their fine form
He was in good form and he had plenty of work done,. We forgot to put the tongue-tie on him but it obviously didn't make much difference. It's great to get him off the mark on the Flat. He'll go back over jumps now. If we got a mile-and-six somewhere on the Flat we'd look at that but he'll stay mainly over jumps. I'd say a mile-and-a-half is plenty sharp enough for him and you're waiting for something to come and do him for a bit of toe. He was very unlucky here last year when Danny Sheehy dislocated his shoulder half a furlong down as he was tanking by them passing the line. Danny couldn't do anything on him that day and it was unfortunate. Over hurdles he kept improving throughout last year and he was very good in Galway when he won. The aim will be to go back to Galway.
Oromo a big-priced Flat winner for Rachael Blackmore
He's a grand little genuine horse. We got back surgery done on him during the winter and it's obviously made a difference,. He's one-paced and you just have to keep going forward with him. He's that grade and that's him. Rachael was very good on him.
