He's a lovely horse and we've always liked him. We just made a decision to come down here because the ground was a little bit easier for him. I don't know where we are going with him next but hopefully he'll improve from that. He's a big horse and he's on the up. Ronan gave him a lovely ride because mentally he's a little bit immature. That race will improve him every way hopefully, mentally and physically. His run in Gowran was a good one and he's one to look forward to. Tracey Collins, trainer

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Miss Colleen Murphy, that Karen Kenny, rider of Lucan Rock, weighed in at 1.3 Ibs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found Karen Kenny to be in breach of Rule 231 and having considered her record, cautioned her with regard to her future responsibilities.
