we always liked Great Huzzar but he had a few little problems and pulled a muscle last spring. He needed the run badly at Cork the last day and we'll take our time with him now. While he handled the cut in the ground, it wasn't imperative for him to have it.

Fahey scores Peachy win

she's a tough little devil! I thought she was beaten but stuck at it well and was due the win. We'll try to find something similar although she isn't able to carry big weights and might be better stepping up in grade.

Byrnes' Domination continues

Domination is obviously improving and that was a step forward for him. He is tough and genuine and stays well . two and a half miles is obviously his trip. He could go back to the Flat now , he is rated 77, and will have plenty of entries at Galway.

Take A Shot scores again

Take A Shot battled well again today and it was a similar story to his win at Tipperary. . He'll go for something similar again and it is good to see him going the right way since picking up an injury 18 months ago.

Redera readily defies penalty

Redera was due to go up 13lbs for winning at Wexford last Friday so we decided to run here under the fixed penalty. The one that went off in front (Madame Mado) went off very fast and set it up for Redera but it was still some performance. He'll stick to hurdling but I can't see him going over fences as he is very small.

McManus records Roscommon double

it has taken Hired Hand a while to win but he jumped away well and did it nicely. We'll find a handicap hurdle for him now and he'll tip away during the summer mixing it between jumps and Flat.
