First reserve Orpens Peach gained a narrow head win in the Ladies Day At Roscommon On July 4th Handicap, winning for trainer Seamus Fahey and in-form jockey Shane Foley.
Afterwards Fahey stated “she’s a tough little devil! I thought she was beaten but stuck at it well and was due the win.”
“We’ll try to find something similar although she isn’t able to carry big weights and might be better stepping up in grade.”
Runner-up Ashton Rose s jockey Pat Shanahan received a one day suspension for excessive use of the whip.
