David Nolan, the rider of the winner MUJAASAM, drawn 8, had appeared to not keep straight from the stalls.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Nolan was suspended for 1 day.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start when Mujassam (GB), ridden by David Nolan, interfered with Penniesfromheaven (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle.
Nolan was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed when insufficiently clear of a free running Penniesfromheaven (IRE) which had to be steadied to avoid his heels.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately half a furlong after the start when Mujassam (GB), ridden by David Nolan, interfered with Lucky Lodge (GB), placed third, ridden by Cam Hardie.
Nolan was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Lucky Lodge (GB) which was taken off its intended line.
Following the race, Liam Jones reported that Zapper Cass (FR), placed eighth, was never travelling.
Hollie Doyle reported that Penniesfromheaven (IRE), hung badly right-handed and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
