Perseverance pays off for Chianti
She's a home-bred filly from a family that we've had for 16 or 17 years,. She's from a wonderful family, her dam is a half-sister to Tropical Lady. We have another half-sister by Flemensfirth (Kilbarry Lilac) who ran at Wexford recently as well. I'm delighted to get the win with her as she had run well in a few bumpers early on. It's nice to get a little race with her and we'll look for another modest assignment.
Whatdoyawanttoknow a 66-1 winner for Brouder
Lightfoot too strong for hotpot Head
We were expecting that he would run well today, he was in great form coming into the race,. I said to Denis before the race that I never had him as well. He gets himself worked up a bit and can lose his race through nervous energy. He was grand today. We might go to Galway with him now. We have him schooled over fences and after Galway we might go chasing.
Waitnsee completes across the card double for Ryan
She ran a cracker in Punchestown and we were disappointed that it didn't happen for her in Killarney, it was too quick for her,. We're absolutely delighted with her here now. She'll go for the Galway Blazers next.
Everglow gains deserved win as O'Regan doubles up
Hurricane blows National rivals away
We thought she had a good chance and thought she was our best chance coming here,. Jack gave her a lovely ride, he said they went quick early. In fairness she stayed going well and she's very tough. She had a nice weight on her back but she's climbing up the ladder the whole time. She probably won too well but they are here to do their best so it's great. She'll be entered in the Plate but it might just happen a bit fast for her around Galway. She might be a horse for a Kerry National or something like that. We'll have a lot of fun with her.
Mullins charts wide course to boss bumper rivals
I'm very pleased with that fellow and he has improved nicely since his last run. I think he's going to be a proper horse in time. He's more like a winter horse than a summer horse. We'll have a crack at a winners bumper with him. Galway might come around too soon but maybe Listowel or something like that would suit.
