Safari Sunup is a grand horse but two and a half miles on a galloping track is ideal for him. He stayed on like hell at Punchestown the last day and should improve from today. He may go for a novice hurdle at Galway next.

Tear Drops wins on handicap debut

it took us three and a half hours to come down but this makes it worth it!. It took Tear Drops a while to get going after her two bumper wins. This was her first handicap run today and Jason rode her to win her two bumpers. We've no plans for the moment.

No penalty for Peccatorum

he has been knocking on door recently but the extra half mile helped today. I was fancying him to run a big race and he'll be kept on the go for the summer. he is the only Big Bad Bob sired horse running over jumps at the moment and his owner, Henry Lappin, a solicitor from Dublin has been a loyal owner with me for some years.

I thought I was being clever coming here this time of year for an easy race but it turned out to be a competitive race!. She acts well on a sharp track like this and will now have a few more runs on the Flat before Galway. She is well handicapped on the Flat and with a mark of 124, we'll try to get her into the Galway Hurdle.

Breeze hits Tramore

I have very few horses in this summer and hopefully Coolharbour Breeze, a point to point winner but a racecourse maiden coming into today, will come out of this race well.

Bones much too strong

Mr Bones was well handicapped over fences (rated 95) having a hurdle mark of 114. I've no immediate plans with him but the Galway Festival may be an option later in the summer . he is a possible for the Galway Blazers Handicap Chase.
