Stack's 'good filly' bags the lolly
she did it well and she's a filly we've always thought a bit of. Sprinting will probably be her game, I'd say. She didn't have any problem travelling behind them there and they were going good and hard. She'll be a better filly too when she grows into her frame, she's a nice filly. She just started growing a bit and had one or two small niggles, but nothing of any consequence, but she's a good filly, I think, hopefully. We'll put her away now, that'll be it.

Lyons claims Spratt & Levins' Dundalk Claimer winner
he's been a grand old servant for me and I don't know what went wrong the last day and perhaps I didn't have him fresh enough. He's a horse that loves to be fresh. He benefited from a nice cool, simple ride. He went out with a plan in his head and executed it brilliantly. In fairness it probably was a weak enough race and that told in the manner he won it. I wouldn't like to see what the handicapper is going to do but we'll take it as we get it and see if we can pick up another one up here, but that's only if he's not claimed.
Keane gets good Response from First
It was a very good ride from Colin, a very confident ride. He's a fine big horse but he's still green. He acted a little antsy in the stalls and was slow away but Colin didn't want to gun him. They went a nice true gallop and the second horse did well and didn't stop. He gave him a lovely lead into the straight and our horse was very honest. He ran right to the line, hands and heels. He'll be a lovely horse to grow up over the winter, he has to grow into himself.
Paved Paradise causes 40/1 upset for Harty & Gallagher
we've always thought a bit of her but she's had little bits of setbacks here and there. I thought the handicapper gave her a chance but you never know up here whether they'll handle the surface or not. That was the only doubt I had and she was 40/1 but that's not her fault. She had run well in a couple of maidens and is a good honest filly. She's in the mares' sale but I don't know if she'll go there or what we'll do with her. I think she could be a cracking filly for next year and we could have a bit of fun with her. It's nice to get one.
Jackmel off the mark at 13th attempt
He did it well in the end,. He had good form here early in his career as a two-year-old over seven and a mile. He lost his form a bit so we said we'd try him over six and he went close last week. He just wanted the extra furlong and it's great to get his head in front. I still wouldn't rule out going back to six with him. If he was a bit sharper out last week he would have been very close.

he's a fine big horse and I think I've made a bit of a faux pas with him as he's bred to be a sprinter and we were going seven and a mile. He was a little bit behind the bridle when he was younger, and greener, but now he's got a bit sharper and is more able to do this. I thought it was a good performance and the second horse (Admirality) is obviously a good horse and they pulled well clear. I don't where we'll go from here and if we find something similar we might go again up here. He's a horse with plenty of ability, he has a lot of size and scope. He's a huge big horse and to be fair he hasn't done much sprinting. He'll start to learn it now as we start to do more of it.
Commander Won records his fifth Dundalk success
we decided to ride him a bit different today and drop him in a bit so he wasn't getting hard races every time he came up here from the front. We thought we'd ride him a bit different, try and keep him a bit sweeter, and it worked out. Shane (Foley) knows him and said he'd maybe send him turning in today instead of grinding it out from the start.
