We thought the trip might be a shade sharp, he's won over six furlongs and six to seven furlongs is probably his trip. He's a slow starter and he does his best close home, he flew home there. He's in the July Sale so we'll discuss with the owners as to what the plan is.

I've only two in training and both have won now. This lad is a big coward, he doesn't like horses coming either side of him he doesn't like to be crowded. He stayed the trip well and it probably helped that they went quick early on.

That was my first winner on the track I've had a couple at the points. We bought her out of Paul Deegan's, she's so genuine and a straight forward filly to train. She loves the quick ground and depending on how she comes out of the race we might go to Killarney. Seamie [Heffernan] gave her a great ride, he used his head and made plenty of use with her and we knew she'd stay.

It was very tight but in fairness to him he pulled out when Katie got to him. We'll go to Galway for something I'm sure whether we'll go for a hurdle or something on the flat.
